Old Laptop?

Anyone got a laptop they no longer use. Thinking of getting one for Tyler for Christmas.

Something that will run minecraft. Don't wanna spend the earth but currently looking around. So far the best I have found is an i3-3110M with 4gig ram for $150 running win7.

$150 is what I wanna spend but might stretch up to $250

I have this old thing lying around, just updated it all, only thing "wrong" with it is that it has a hair straightener burn in the lid but it doesn't affect the laptop at all, you can notice a slight discoloration on white screens where it is.

I'd sell it for $150 as is but it really needs more ram (only has 2) and it runs minecraft a bit jumpy, I can grab another couple of gb from my work for $30 or if you have any lying around you can chuck it in

Thanks for the offer but I think I will pass on this one... There are some bargains around and I aim to get one.. have a few leads.. hopefully they lead to something..

I want a Core i3 with 4gb ram minimum ..

most valuable item'd be the screen itself

ended up spending more than planned... $250 got me an i5 (old one) with 4gig ram.. 500gb hdd running windows 8.. not sure i'm a fan without a touch screen.. feels too clunky without a touch interface...
